On 28th April 2023, the Social Director of the department of Sociology was suspended indefinitely during the online Legislative Sitting by the House of Representatives. The Social Director, in person of Miss Precious Darlington, was present when she was served her sentence . The Majority of the House supported the motion for her suspension which was moved by one of the principal officers. Miss Precious Darlington had been absent from several sittings in concession without informing the house clerk or any of the other principal officers. She had also been found guilty of the refusal to submit the report of the picnic which was held on 18th December, 2022, over four months ago.
The suspended Social Director had been reported to be in conflict with her committee members. She had also been accused of refusing to address the house formally and properly and has been served some punishments on 14th April, 2023 but she displayed nonchalance attitude, and a lack of remorse which resulted in a harsher punishment. The suspended executive had also abandoned her constitutional duties - an offence to the body of the Sociology Students as a whole.
Miss Precious Darlington, until further notice, has been stripped off her constitutional rights and duties and relieved of her duties as an executive and will now be addressed as one of the many non-title bearing students of Sociology.
