On Saturday, 14th October 2023. A Real Estate conference tagged: FOLLOW THE MONEY;using real estate as a tool was held at the Faculty of The Social Sciences LLT. The conference was slated for 10am but started at 11am.
The conference started with an opening prayer, the National Anthem was sung. The host of the conference was Mustapha Hammed, a 200 level student of the department of Sociology. He gave his welcome address and introduced the convener of the conference, Mr Olamide Adesanya.
The Master of Ceremony (Toluwaleke Owonifaari and Awodele Azeezat) apologized for the delay with the time. The convener of the conference and founder of Realtors Continent, Mr Olamide Adesanya welcomed everyone to the event and narrated his personal story on how he ended up in real estate.
He also gave an insight to what Real Estate was all about and the opportunities one can get if you venture into it. He emphasized that Real Estate is a fast growing sector in the economy and students can make good money while in school by using real estate as a tool.
The conference was graced with prominent speakers like Professor Bernard Owumi, a Sociology Lecturer who spoke about entrepreneurship and its impact in National development, Mr.Muaza Abu, a tech expert also spoke about the importance of acquiring a tech skill as students.
Mr Paul Olubori, a Cryptocurrency and Forex Coach, a real estate expert spoke on building good relationships with people and also creating value. There were other side attractions like a Spoken word by Jerubbal and also giveaway in cash and gifts. A QandA session was held in which students were able to ask different questions and their questions were answered. The conference was very impactful and it came to an end at 3:30pm.
