Exam tension, test tension, festival season and the Coming Syndrome (the school election) As we are in test week and exam will be following in the next three weeks and again we are also in the festival season. The feeling of tension and worry that comes from test-taking and exam situations is considered to be normal and common among student. It is normal to feel some stress about upcoming tests, exams, papers or presentations. Indeed, a small amount of stress can challenge you and stimulate you to work harder. stress becomes problematic when it interferes with your ability to perform and achieve your academic and learning goals.
Adegoke Zulaykoh, a 100l student of the English and literature department in an interview with her said, "About the tests and the forthcoming exams, I am indifferent towards them. I've been unable to study as I should, but TDB to the rescue". Like she said most students have results to going for TDB, an acronym for reading Till Day Break. Which makes KDL to be crowded as exam is approaching. All this the coming syndrome and the school festival. The student union week is approaching likewise the faculty, department and hall week too are fast approaching.
The University of Ibadan student are facing the tension to study for test, exam and still have to participate in the school festival and since the election ban have been lifted the coming syndrome... Almost every UI haven't been able to walk around the school premises without coming across any political office aspirants at the student union level, faculty level, departmental level and even the Campus Journalism level. Someone who wants to remain anonymous said, "They are all giving it their all, it's fun to see the banters about it too. As a fresher, I do not have much opinion about the coming election, May the most qualified win." Another person said, " All these people contesting for a post have nothing to offer than to get certificate to add to their credentials. I just feel like non of them is up to the post they are contesting for." Oreofeoluwa said" Whoever is coming should come..But I hope the person deliver well. Serve the people!" Through all this bulky schedule for uite I still believe they are going to excel in their exams an make all these festival one of the best for them
