THE IMPACTS OF CAMPUS CLUBS AND SOCIETES ON STUDENTS.

The university is not just a place for learning but also for equipping the minds of individuals in various aspects of life, hence clubs and societies are created on campus so that indivuals experience a taste of real life.



The University of Ibadan priotizes the academic and social success of her students as said in the vision of the school "To be a world-class institution for academic excellence geared towards meeting societal needs."


The creation of clubs and societies on campus has aided students to share their interests with other like-minded students.

There are alot of benefits that comes with campus clubs and societies such as; netwoking , leadership oppotunities, exploring new capacities, building another career asides from one's current field of study and improving one's resume.

Moreover, there are alot of campus clubs and socities in the university that have helped students explore beyond the lecture room activites such as ; The Student Union, The Sigma club, The NSASA literary and debating society, The tax club , The Law Student Society and many more.

Most of these campus clubs and societies have not only helped students in sharing like-minded opinions but they have created oppotunities for students internationally.


In conclusion, it is advised that students find campus clubs and societies they feel they can engage in, after all a university is not just a home of academics but also where life truly begins.
