Students of University of Ibadan Write A Petition Against The Students' Union

By Grace Omolola

Students of the University of Ibadan wrote a petition against the leadership of the University of Ibadan Students' Union Leadership for its refusal to summon all students to a general meeting.

After the protests held on the 16th and 17th of July on the school fees increment and the victimization of the UI' SDC3, the students demanded for a Congress to assess the general outcomes.

However, the Students' Union Leadership failed to heed the call of the students. A group of students- Faith Adediran, Ayodele Aduwo, Nice Linus, Babatimehin peace, Ariyemi Michael and a few others, gave the Leadership an ultimatum of three working days, which lapses on Friday, 2nd of August 2024, after which they'll protest peacefully at the Kunle Adepeju Memorial Students' Union building.
