The Seals cup'23, courtesy of the Students Union is a departmental football competition amongst University of Ibadan's undergraduates and today marks the second day of the competition in which Sociology played against the Department of Wood product Engineering in their first match of the Seal cup 2023. The match started at exactly 12:00pm and it ended in 2-1 in favour of the Department of Sociology.
The match was very tough with the opponents being dominate in the first half. The second half began and the coach made some changes which led to a change in the dynamics of the game. All the goals were scored in the second half courtesy of Chibuzor Martins(400l) and Prayer(200l).
Sociology has three points in their group and are leveled with psychology who also won their match.
Matchday 2 will be Sociology vs the Department of Arabic studies.
