THE SILENT KILLER THAT EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT.

Cervical and Breast Cancer are two of the most common cancers in women. Both cancers are highly treatable when caught early, but they can also be deadly if they are not diagnosed and treated promptly.

Cervical Cancer develops in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. It is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), a sexually transmitted infection.

Breast Cancer on the other hand develops in the breast tissue. It is the most common cancer after lung cancer.


The symptoms of cervical cancer are; Abnormal Vaginal bleeding, painful intercourse and vaginal discharge with a foul odor while the symptoms of breast cancer are; A lump in the breast or underarm, Nipple Discharge, Redness, scaling or crusting of the Nipple or breast skin.


Treatment options for cervical cancer may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. There are also a number of things you can do to reduce your risk of developing cervical and breast cancer. These includes; Maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, getting vaccinated against HPV, avoid smoking, limit your alcohol consumption.

If you experience any of the symptoms of cervical or breast cancer, it is important to see a doctor right away in order to perform a physical test or examination.
