The just completed "FATSSSA GOT TALENT SHOW" brought to light a number of talented people in the faculty. But amongst talents, there is also a talent so rare. There were singers, dancers, a saxophonist and there was also a percussionist. What blew the mind of the audience and judges was the back hand style of drumming, the percussionist, popularly known as EAZY RHTHYMS. He is our sociologist of the week.
Adeleye Truimph Israel also known as EAZY RHTHYMS is a 100 Level student of the department of sociologist. He is a passionate percussionist and contested in the FGT 2023. He was the first runner up. Apart from being a talented percussionist, he had the amazing aura that kept everybody who heard him glued to the sound of his drum.
He loves hanging out with friends and learning new things most especially he loves music with my whole heart. His dream is to become one of the best and re-known Talking drummer in the world and people who has fueled this dream are KOFO WONDER and SUGAR LARRY.
In the interview, he mentioned that one of the challenges he went through was learning that back hand style that wowed everyone. The pain he went through while learning the style was a challenge but his passion push him to endure it all.
"I decided to participate because I always want to be in a competition that has lots of challenges and to show the world the kind of wonder the drum can do." He said.
He won the audience heart and this made the excos make a wonderful statement which is " WELCOME TO SUGAR BAND." Sugar Band is known as the biggest band in the university of Ibadan. This was absolutely a delight for a freshman as it was the first of its kind."
His message to the every other sociologists is "Keep your guards up and continue doing what you love doing most and through your passion at work, you will surely get what you want at the end. There is light at the end of the tunnel."
